Spotting Scope Stand (Hi-Power):

Tripod base is solid steel (or aluminum) hex block with inset 1" x 1/2" solid aluminum legs (steel legs optional for added weight), pivoted on hardened and ground shoulder bolts with polyurethane spring loading, folds for transport/storage or inverted to have ends wrap around pole.  Base block is blued, legs anodized.  Pole threads into base to eliminate fragile set screws which can mar rods.  This connection is more rigid.  Hi-Power stands can vary in height by the number or rods used.  Each rod is 20" long, so three rods (standard) will give you about 63" of height.  For very tall shooters, a fourth rod can be added for shooter convenience.

Pole is one inch stainless steel tubing (aluminum optional) with stainless steel or aluminum threaded inserts, using a 5/8" thread. Pole is normally 60" long, in three pieces.  Tall shooters and/or those using straight through scopes need a longer rod set, provided at no extra cost.  Head is machined PVC with a cotter clamp for the pole.  It has a pivoting plate to which the scope is attached, operated by a unique cam from the right side of the scope to control elevation of the objective. (Elevation control for easy use by the free hand while in prone position in sling.  Reverse for left-hand operation.  Also can be used inverted on either side.)  The included hex wrench can be stored in a drilled hole.

The unit is designed to be used with any tripod-mountable scope.  Band clamp with V-block for non-tripod scopes and rocker plate for non-rotating 45 degree scopes available.  It is reputed to me by my dealers and customers to be the sturdiest, most stable, and user-friendly stand on the market.  The weight is near the ground and the tube is stiff, the head is light.  It moves less in the wind and is quite resistant to being blown over. It is also guaranteed against defects/breakage for life (except top cap.)  Custom configurations on request.

Light Weight Hi-Power:

Has an aluminum base block, extensively lightened legs, normally supplied with aluminum rods (Stainless Steel available on request), rod lenths are 20".  This stand is very popular with weight conscious shooters, especially those traveling internationally.

Palma Model:

An aluminum base with a 150 degree elbow pocket for prone shooting. Legs are extensively lightened, rod configuration normally supplied is one 12" and one 24" section (all aluminum).

Sniper/Tactical Models:

Sniper Model (In use by the US Special Operations Command in Iraq, etc.) (SOCOM)
Smaller and much lighter scope stand featuring all OD anodized aluminum base assembly and poles.  Pole sections are 9.5" long.  The Head Assembly utilizes both thrust and teflon bearings for smooth operation, tension adjustable for user requirements

Sniper (Generation III):

This is an enhancement to the SOCOM design with legs approximately 2" longer to provide greater stability for larger, heavier scopes and in taller setups with the extra poles.  Weight and bulk are the same.

These stands were designed by request of SOCOM to provide a lightweight, airborne survivable stand.  These stands are  totally ambidextrous and comfortable for long periods of use.  It is also much lighter/smaller than any durable stand on the market.

Adjustable/Extendable Leg Option:

You only need one per stand, on the lower side of your base footprint.  Available for both models of sniper stands, it features a sliding inner portion of the leg that extends total length to a maximum of nearly double the original length, plus the leg is adjustable for slope via a set screw at the top. These were requested by the highest level of competition tactical/snipers who want more usage on rough terrain, including mountainsides. (Hunters take note!)

PLEASE NOTE:

Tactical Stands below are NOT RECOMMENDED for use as a Hi-Power Scope Stand. They are too light and too small a footprint to support a scope at the height required for Hi-Power shooting.

Offhand Rest / Ammo Holder (Smallbore & Air Rifle)

Tripod base,f aluminum or steel  (no wind + less weight) and a two-piece anodized aluminum sliding rod for elevation of the top-mounted padded rest, utilizing a collet clamp for height adjustment.  An ammo-holding block on an adjustable arm is provided, configured per customer desires, including pellet tins.  (Scope mount accessory available on request)
